Northern Home Children Receive Scholarships To Attend Arthur Ashe Summer Tennis & Education Camp

Check Presentation By Keystone Mercy Health Plan and East River Bank

Philadelphia, PA – 30 kids from Northern Home for Children will attend the Arthur Ashe Tennis Camp this summer through sponsorships provided by Keystone Mercy Health Plan and East River Bank.

The Keystone Mercy and East River Bank partnership will provide $4,000 in tennis scholarships. The check presentation will take place on Monday, February 26, 2007, at 3:30 p.m. at the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education facility located at 4842 Ridge Avenue Philadelphia.

Keystone Mercy Senior Leadership Michael Rashid, Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Office, and Ann Morrissey, President of Pennsylvania Managed Care, will present the check with Christopher McGill, President and CEO of East River Bank to Scott Tharp, Executive Director of Arthur Ashe, and Craig Wagner, Director of Health Services for Northern Home.

“Keystone Mercy is proud to partner with East River Bank to provide the children tennis scholarships to attend the Arthur Ashe Summer Camp,” said Morrissey. “As part of our mission to help people get care, stay well and build healthy communities, we are dedicated to health and well-being of the children at Northern Home.”

Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis and Education is a non-profit organization that serves over 10,500 children throughout the greater Philadelphia region with year-round programs that combine tennis instruction with educational initiatives. Please visit www.ashetennis.org.
