Keystone Mercy COO Honored as a Leader in the African-American Community

Michael A. Rashid To Be Honored at Philadelphia Tribune Event

Philadelphia, PA – Michael A. Rashid, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Keystone Mercy Health Plan, was recently honored as an “African-American Leader” as part of the Philadelphia Tribune’s 2007 Most Influential African-Americans award ceremony on February 15 at 6pm at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Rashid is among a prestigious group of “African-American Leaders” who, according the January issue of Tribune Magazine, “strive, everyday to make a difference in their community.” The magazine adds that Rashid works “to improve the quality of life of Philadelphians.”

“It’s an honor to be part of such a distinguish list of elected officials, entrepreneurs, community and business leaders who doing such great work in their communities,” said Rashid.
