Keystone Mercy COO Honored as a Leader in the African-American Community

Michael A. Rashid Honored at Philadelphia Tribune Event

Philadelphia, PA - Michael A. Rashid, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Keystone Mercy Health Plan, was honored as an "African-American Leader" as part of the Philadelphia Tribune's 2006 Most Influential African-Americans award ceremony held recently at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

Rashid is among a prestigious group of "African-American Leaders" who, according the January issue of Tribune Magazine, "strive, everyday to make a difference in their community." The magazine adds that Rashid works "to improve the quality of life of Philadelphians."

"It is truly an honor to be named an 'African-American Leader' by the Philadelphia Tribune," said Rashid. "I am proud to be a part of this distinguish list of community members who doing a great work in their communities."
