Keystone Mercy Health Plan Appoints New Chief Medical Officer:
Jay Feldstein, D.O.
Philadelphia, PA - Keystone Mercy Health Plan has appointed Jay Feldstein, D.O., as the new Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
In this role, Dr. Feldstein is responsible for the leadership of the Medical
Management division, including initiatives such as utilization, quality,
case management and disease management.
"Dr.Feldstein is an accomplished and innovative health care leader, who brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our organization," said Anne Morrissey, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Pennsylvania Managed Care at Keystone Mercy. "He has the vision and expertise to make sure our members receive the highest quality of care."
Prior to joining Keystone Mercy, Dr. Feldstein served as senior medical director for AETNA's Mid-Atlantic region. He also served as medical director of Concentra Health Services in Newark, chief executive officer of Occupational Health Resources, and medical director and founder of SpectraCare Occupational Health Services.
Dr.Feldstein is board certified in emergency medicine and occupational medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Feldstein received his BA from Penn State University and his D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical Center of Delaware and his Internship at JFK Hospital in Strafford, New Jersey.
