Hemophilia

Hemophilia is an uncommon disease. It is genetic, which means people with hemophilia are born with it. When you have hemophilia, your body cannot clot your blood. This can make it hard for you to stop bleeding.

If you are a member who suffers from hemophilia, call Keystone Mercy's Care Coordination department to sign up for the program. The number is 1-800-573-4100. We want to help you live a healthy life. Call to speak to a Care Manager today.

The hemophilia program will help you:

  • learn about the medicines for treating hemophilia and about self-infusion
  • learn how to stop injuries
  • learn about the importance of shots (immunizations)
  • connect you with a hemophilia treatment center
