Rebuilding Together Philadelphia
Rebuilding Together Philadelphia (RTP) is a volunteer-driven organization that makes essential repairs for low-income homeowners in the city's most fragile neighborhoods. Leveraging the efforts of 1,000 volunteers, every dollar contributed for materials and other expenses is transformed into $5 worth of services for homeowners who are helped at no charge. Since 1988, nearly 550 homeowners have received more than $15 million worth of repairs in the Philadelphia area. RTP is a high-impact organization.
Keystone Mercy has been active with this organization for the past nine years. Again, this year the Keystone Mercy Team, consisting of associates and family members, worked on houses in North Philadelphia. These houses required clean-up and small renovations to provide a warm, safe and dry environment for the residents. Attached are the two teams that worked in 2004. |
