William Morsell Senior Vice President, Provider Network Management

William C. Morsell, MBA, is Senior Vice President of Provider Network Management. Mr. Morsell is responsible for the oversight and support of the physician, hospital and ancillary service provider networks. In addition, he is charged, along with Keystone Mercy's Chief Medical Officer, with the creation and implementation of the company's medical/provider strategy, which includes developing stronger relationships with participating providers.

Prior to joining Keystone Mercy Health Plan, Mr. Morsell was a Vice President and Executive Director at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Mr. Morsell was responsible for hospital, physician and ancillary contracting in Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia. In addition, he was the executive leader of several enterprise-wide strategic initiatives in medical cost management. His healthcare career includes experience as a Vice President of Health Delivery for Aetna US Healthcare, and General Manager of the Southern New Jersey Market for US Healthcare.

Mr. Morsell currently serves as a board member at Northern Home for Children and Father Judge High School. He earned an undergraduate degree in economics from St. Francis College of Pennsylvania, and his M.B.A. in Health Care Management from LaSalle University. He is a faculty member at Holy Family University, where he teaches the courses in leadership and health care management to graduate-level students. Mr. Morsell is also a Senior Scholar at the Jefferson Medical College, Department of Health Policy.
